Foster carted off from Texans practice with calf injury

Foster

On Friday, Texans running back Arian Foster was in Cleveland, filming a portion of his role in a film in which he plays an NFL running back.

It’s unknown whether his character gets injured in the movie. But Foster currently has an injury that has resulted in the 2010 NFL rushing leader being carted off the field during Tuesday’s practice.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Foster had ice on his calf. In a follow-up tweet, McClain points out coach Gary Kubiak informed the media that Foster has a strained calf muscle.

That’s good news, given that any time a guy is carted off the field with a lower leg injury, folks get anxious about how serious it could be. In Foster’s case, it’s apparently not serious at all.
