Broncos move Jammer to safety

Jammer

After the Broncos flirted with safety Charles Woodson, safety Mike Adams wondered what the team may do next.

Well, the Broncos decided to acquire cornerback Quentin Jammer -- and move him to safety.

A tweet from Lindsay Jones of USA Today that was retweeted by Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego but then deleted by Jones as an apparent violation of Denver’s in-practice reporting policies indicates that Jammer was working with the safeties in individual drills.

It’s not as if the tweet gave away any secrets. Mike Klis of the Denver Post previously reported that Jammer, who never has played safety in 11 NFL seasons, will move to safety in Denver.
