The Jets, who could use a little more wide receiver depth, conducted a workout for veteran wideout Derek Hagan this week, Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com and Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reported Thursday.
The 28-year-old Hagan caught 20 passes for 259 yards in 14 games (two starts) with Oakland in 2012. A third-round pick of Miami in 2006, Hagan has also appeared in regular-season games for the Dolphins, Giants and Bills. Overall, he has caught 129 passes for 1,480 yards and six TDs in seven NFL seasons.
Earlier, there was an erroneous report of a Hagan workout with the Raiders on Wednesday.
