A pair of general managers will be Mike Florio’s guests on Thursday’s edition of PFT Live.
The Bills only promoted Doug Whaley to the top job recently, but he’s been in the organization for a while and had a hand in putting together the roster before Buddy Nix stepped aside this month. We’ll see if he’ll share any thoughts about the team’s quarterback competition during a conversation about everything going on with the Bills as they prepare for their first season under head coach Doug Marrone.
Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff has been on the job longer than Whaley so there won’t be any need to talk about transitions when he joins Florio. There will be plenty to talk about, however, including the team’s decision to sign veterans like running back Steven Jackson and defensive end Osi Umenyiora as free agents this offseason. Another veteran, defensive lineman Richard Seymour, has also been linked to the Falcons and we’ll find out if Dimitroff has anything to share on that front.
