The Lions have come to terms with wide receiver Matt Willis, Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com reported Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Willis will compete to make the Lions as a reserve wideout and special teams coverage player. He caught 10 passes for 90 yards in 15 regular-season games for Denver in 2012 while also notching a career-high seven tackles on special teams.

Willis entered the NFL in 2007 as an undrafted free agent from UCLA. He had been with Denver since late in the 2008 season. Overall, he’s caught 30 passes for 385 yards and one touchdown while notching 15 special teams stops in regular-season play.
