We’re starting the PFT Live week off in the NFC North.
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press will join Mike Florio on Monday to discuss the latest developments of the Lions offseason, including the negotiations on a new deal for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Word over the weekend was that a deal will be tabled if it isn’t reached before the start of the season and we’ll hear from Birkett about the chances of the two sides coming to an agreement before that deadline.
Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is also entering the final year of his contract and Paul Allen of KFAN Sports Radio will be on the program to discuss that and the rest of the news around the team at this point in the offseason. With the Mt. Rushmores being announced for both the Lions and Vikings later on Monday, we’ll also ask both men about their choices as the faces of the respective franchises.
