PFT’s Free Agent Hot 100 down to four unsigned players

Israel Idonije’s departure to Detroit leaves just four unsigned members of PFT’s Free Agent Hot 100:

Defensive lineman Richard Seymour (No. 42).

Defensive end John Abraham (No. 43).

Linebacker Nick Barnett (No. 89).

Offensive guard Brandon Moore (No. 97).

Seymour, as we noted earlier Tuesday, told SiriusXM NFL Radio there’s no new news on whether he will land with the Falcons. He’s spent the last four seasons in Oakland, which is rebuilding.

Abraham, whom the Falcons released in March, remains an above-average pass rusher. Barnett (112 tackles in 2012 for Buffalo) has the ability to play in 3-4 and 4-3 schemes. Moore, the long-time Jets lineman, graded out fourth-best among offensive guards in Pro Football Focus’ 2012 rankings.

Combined, these four players have combined to start 598 regular-season games.

So yes, there are some proven veterans still on the market. But there’s one less of them with the versatile Idonije joining the Lions.
