Rob Gronkowski’s feeling good.
That should come as less of a surprise than the fact that Rob Gronkowski wrote a book.
The Patriots tight end showed up to promote his new collection of prose “Growing up Gronk,” and he showed up without a cast or brace on his many times surgically repaired left arm.
“I can tell you this,” Gronkowski said, via Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. “I’m in great spirits. I’m enjoying life a lot more. I can tell you that right there.”
That was about the extent of the insight from Gronkowski. He was asked for a reaction to the recent arrests of Aaron Hernandez and Alfonzo Dennard, as well as about the condition of his surgically repaired back.
“No reaction at all. I’m just here about the book,” was the blanket response to two fairly different questions.
Asked if the league had a problem with off-field conduct considering his own team seems to, the new author replied: “Ask Roger Goodell. . . .
“You’ve got to ask Roger. He’s been in the business for a while. . . . Roger that.”
Hopefully there’s more in the book, or else it would be available in pamphlet stores nationwide.
