Bucs add Scott Cohen to front office

Cohen

The Buccaneers become the first to open camp when their rookies report today, but they’ve also added a veteran to their coaching staff.

Via the Tampa Bay Times, the Bucs added personnel man Scott Cohen as a senior personnel advisor, a new position created under General Manager Mark Dominik.

Cohen was interviewed for the Jets G.M. job, but ultimately swept out there when John Idzik was hired for that position. He’s also worked for the Redskins, Jaguars and Eagles.

The Bucs also passed out some promotions, making former linebacker Shelton Quarles the director of pro scouting (his title was previously coordinator of pro scouting) and elevating Mike Greenberg from coordinator of football administration to director status as well.
