The Travelle Wharton free agency tour has apparently hit a roadblock.

According to Bill Williamson of ESPN.com, Wharton decided to not make a scheduled trip to Denver, which was reported earlier today.

Wharton had visited the Panthers earlier this week, but apparently may have had economic reservations about visiting the Broncos (i.e. not enough money was being offered).

He’s a versatile blocker who can play guard or tackle, starting 99 games in his career. But he missed last season with the Bengals because of a knee injury, and will need to prove to teams he’s well enough to play.

And if he’s looking for more than the minimum, he might need to wait until guys start going down in camps to create more need.
