The Lions have waived offensive guard Bill Nagy, Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com reported Thursday.
Nagy, 25, was a seventh-round pick of the Cowboys in 2011. He started four games at guard for Dallas a rookie before suffering a broken left ankle. He then missed all of the 2012 season after a high-ankle sprain and surgery on the same leg. The Lions claimed him on waivers last August from Dallas.
With Nagy departing, the Lions now have an open spot on their 90-player roster.
