When Patriots coach Bill Belichick addressed the media for the first time at training camp on Thursday, it was all Aaron Hernandez, all the time, and not a single question about Tim Tebow was asked. But on Friday, Belichick got his first Tebow question.

Specifically, Belichick was asked whether the Patriots see Tebow as a quarterback exclusively, or whether they might use him at other positions as well. And Belichick declined to answer.

“I think we’ll use Tim where ever we feel like is best for the team,” Belichick said. “I know that’s what he’s committed to doing as well, whatever that is.”

Asked about Tebow’s practice habits, Belichick said he likes what he sees.

“He’s got a great work ethic -- great,” Belichick said.

That work ethic will be especially important if Belichick wants Tebow to practice at more than one position.
