Andre Smith receives clearance to practice

andre

The man best known for running watch-it-wiggle-see-it-jiggle 40-yard dash at Alabama has officially commenced the process of getting in football shape for the 2013 season.

The Bengals have activated tackle Andre Smith from the active/non-football injury list. He had missed practice for the first several days of camp with a calf injury.

That’s very good news for the Bengals, especially since Smith skipped the offseason program and a mandatory minicamp held in June.

Also joining training camp practice on Monday will be tight end/long snapper Bryce Davis, who was on the non-football illness list, and receiver Brandon Tate, who had been on the active/physically unable to perform list with a hamstring problem.
