Arian Foster set to return to practice Sunday

Texans running back Arian Foster’s calf injury from May, which wasn’t a big deal in June, is sufficiently healed now that it’s August.

According to Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle, Foster is expected to be activated from the PUP list and begin practicing again Sunday.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Ed Reed still wasn’t close to practicing after hip surgery, but was optimistic that taking the slow approach was going to be good for Foster.

It better be, because it’s frightening to think how much time he’d miss with something serious.
