Giants linebacker Dan Connor has accepted responsibility for his arrest for carrying a knife into an airport, and could eventually see his record cleared.
According to the Associated Press, Connor’s case is scheduled for a pre-trial diversion in Philadelphia Municipal Court.
His lawyer said the switchblade in Connor’s bag was a gag gift, which Connor didn’t realize was there when he was arrested at the Philadelphia International Airport in July.
While Connor has taken the high road on this one, he still faces review under the league’s personal conduct policy.
