The offseason yoga might have helped Dwayne Allen, but there are some things you just can’t stretch.

According to the Associated Press, the Colts tight end missed practice again Friday with an injured foot that will keep him out of Sunday’s preseason opener.

“Dwayne Allen went for a second opinion. Have not gotten the results back yet,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. “He’s due back in town sometime this evening. Just waiting on that. When we have an answer, we’ll give it to you.”

The Colts have two good tight ends along with Coby Fleener, and missing Allen for any amount of time would compromise part of their plans under new coordinator Pep Hamilton, who wants to run the ball more.
