Myron Lewis, the 2010 third-round draft pick who was cut by the Buccaneers last week, has landed in Detroit.

A league source tells PFT that the Lions have signed Lewis.

The Lions have been looking for depth in the secondary and improvement on special teams, so Lewis makes a lot of sense for them. He’s a talented athlete who fits the profile of what the Lions need, even if he never seemed to fit in Tampa.

Lewis was an All-SEC cornerback at Vanderbilt, and the Bucs took him with the 67th overall pick in the draft.
