Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III won’t play in the preseason. But he finally has returned to 11-on-11 team drills.
Via Tarik El-Bashir of CSNWashington.com, Griffin took 13 snaps, completing five of eight passes.
While Griffin remains protected from contact, he’s now exposed to an inadvertent hit from a zealous defensive lineman -- which happened during Tuesday night’s episode of Hard Knocks, but which didn’t result in any injuries.
It possibly may have happened on Wednesday during joint practices between the Bucs and Patriots, where New England quarterback Tom Brady apparently suffered some sort of leg injury.
