Jason Peters returns to Eagles practice

Peters

After missing several weeks with a hamstring injury, Eagles left tackle Jason Peters finally has returned to practice.

According to Corey Seidman of CSNPhllly.com, Peters practiced for the first time since tweaking the leg muscle on July 31.

Peters missed both preseason games; he was replaced by Allen Barbre.

Also returning to practice were running back Bryce Brown, who missed more than a week after suffering a quad contusion against the Patriots, and long snapper Jon Dorenbos, who suffered a concussion in the preseason opener against New England.

Depending on the identity of the starting quarterback, Peters may -- or may not -- be protecting the passer’s blind side.
