In case it wasn’t bad enough, the Bills now have injury issues that transcend the quarterback position.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, cornerback Stephon Gilmore will miss about eight weeks with a hand and wrist injury. That could cost him five or six regular season games.

Gilmore was injured during Saturday’s preseason game with the Redskins, in what was a costly exhibition for the Bills, coupled with the serious concussion suffered by quarterback Kevin Kolb.

Gilmore’s becoming one of the top young corners in the league, and his absence for any amount of time will be tough for the Bills to cover.
