There’s at least one Gronkowski who won’t play a down this year.
That would be Chris Gronkowski, the Chargers fullback, who was placed on injured reserve today as the team got down to the 75-man roster limit.
Gronkowski had been bothered by an ankle injury.
He was joined on the IR by wide receivers Dan DePalma (shoulder) and Mike Willie (knee), taking care of their roster moves for the day.
