Packers down to just Mason Crosby at kicker

It appears that Mason Crosby has won the Packers’ kicking job.

The Packers announced today that they have released kicker Zach Ramirez, which leaves the much-maligned Crosby as the only kicker on the roster. It’s still possible that the Packers will grab a kicker who’s not currently on the roster, but it’s more likely that Crosby will again enter the season as the Packers’ placekicker.

Green Bay also confirmed that tackle Bryan Bulaga, receiver Kevin Dorsey, running back DuJuan Harris and linebacker Jarvis Reed were placed on injured reserve, while safety Sean Richardson, tackle Derek Sherrod, tackle JC Tretter and defensive end Jerel Worthy were placed on reserve/physically unable to perform.

That gets Green Bay down to 75 players on the roster, and Crosby as the only one of those 75 with a K next to his name.
