The process of one team’s trash becoming another team’s treasure has started.
Veteran cornerback Will Blackmon was cut Tuesday by the Seahawks. On Wednesday, Blackmon signed with the Jaguars.
Blackmon was out of the NFL in 2012 (he played in the Arena League that year), after spending four seasons with the Packers and two with the Giants. He signed with Seattle in January.
To make room for Blackmon, the Jaguars waived rookie cornerback Marcus Burley.
Look for a lot more moves like this to happen, especially once the rosters cut from 75 to 53.
