The Browns keep tinkering with the roster that got to 53 players less than 24 hours ago.
Gone is running back Brandon Jackson, per a league source.
Jackson appeared in two games last year for the Browns. He previously spent four years with the Packers, starting 13 regular-season games during the team’s most recent Super Bowl season.
Jackson, a vested veteran, instantly becomes a free agent. He lost his spot after the Browns claimed two running backs on waivers: Bobby Rainey and Dennis Johnson.
