At his current pace, kicker Dan Carpenter will work for every team in the NFL.
By October.
The veteran kicker, who has been cut by the Dolphins, Cardinals and Jets in a little over two weeks, is about to have another new address.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Carpenter is expected to sign with the Bills.
That’s a quick turnaround for the Bills also, after they released veteran Rian Lindell so they could keep sixth-round pick Dustin Hopkins.
UPDATE 7:22 p.m. ET: Schefter reports the decision was made to bring in Carpenter when Hopkins suffered a groin injury in practice today.
