In addition to cutting down to a final roster this weekend, the Rams helped solidify future ones.
According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Rams signed defensive end Eugene Sims to a two-year contract extension. He was already under contract through this season, which means he’s locked up through 2015.
Terms of the deal were not available, but the Rams now have every member of the defensive line signed through at least 2014, and all but one through 2015.
Sims was a sixth-rounder from West Texas A&M in 2010, and has shown value by being able to rush from inside or outside.
