Smith, the quarterback cut by the Titans on Saturday, has returned to the team’s practice squad. The Titans kept only two quarterbacks, Jake Locker and Ryan Fitzpatrick, on the 53-man roster, and like most teams that only kept two quarterbacks, they decided to bring a third to the practice squad.

The rest of the Titans’ practice squad players are defensive tackle Stefan Charles, running back Collin Mooney, offensive tackle Al Netter, receiver Rashad Ross, tight end Adam Schiltz, linebacker Jonathan Willard and defensive back Khalid Wooten.
