The Colts have been waiting for four members expected to play big roles on their offense to get healthy the last few weeks and it looks like they will have all four of them in the lineup against the Raiders.
Coach Chuck Pagano previously said that running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who didn’t play at all in the preseason as he recovered from foot surgery, would be in the lineup and he said Wednesday that the other three players should be there as well.
Phillip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star reports that Pagano assured the media that tight ends Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener will both be ready to go on Sunday. Allen has been bothered by a foot injury that kept him off the field for the second half of August while Fleener’s been working his way back from a knee sprain that occurred on the heels of a concussion that sidelined him earlier in camp. The pair combined for 71 catches, 802 yards and seven touchdowns as rookies last season.
There weren’t any assurances for left tackle Anthony Castonzo. Pagano said he expects Castonzo to start on Sunday, although Castonzo isn’t practicing Wednesday because of his knee sprain. He’s expected to practice on Thursday, however, and his presence would mean the entire Colts starting offense is on hand for Oakland.
