It doesn’t look like the Giants will have to live life without wide receiver Victor Cruz against the Cowboys.

Cruz is listed as probable for the Sunday night game, which means his preseason heel injury almost certainly isn’t going to keep him from playing. Things aren’t quite so clear when it comes to defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

Pierre-Paul is listed as questionable after a week of limited practices and Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that Pierre-Paul said Friday that he’ll be a game-time decision for the Giants. While that’s usually what a questionable designation means, the decision could be a bit more difficult for the Giants because of the need to fly to Dallas for the game. With Pierre-Paul recovering from back surgery, that flight might not be the wisest thing if the Giants really aren’t sure that he’ll be able to play.

Center David Baas has been ruled out for the game, along with tackle David Diehl and tight end Adrian Robinson. Fullback Henry Hynoski and defensive end Damontre Moore are also listed as questionable for the game.
