The Titans put fullback Quinn Johnson on injured reserve on Saturday and promoted Colin Mooney from the practice squad to replace him.
Johnson, 26, missed practice on Thursday and Friday with a quadriceps injury. He appeared in all 16 games for Tennessee in 2012, catching five passes for 40 yards and rushing for five yards on four carries.
Mooney played two games for the Titans a season ago, rushing for 19 yards on five carries. The 27-year-old Mooney played collegiately at Army.
According to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean, the Titans worked out former Bengals fullback John Conner and ex-Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson on Friday.
