The Giants will have one of their cornerstone players in the lineup for Sunday’s game at Dallas.

Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is active for Week One, according to a photo of list of the club’s inactives tweeted by Giants spokesperson Pat Hanlon.

Pierre-Paul is returning from offseason back surgery.

While the Giants will have the services of Pierre-Paul, the Cowboys will not have one of their top pass rushers for the opener. Defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee) is inactive, according to a photo of a list of the Cowboys’ eight players sitting out tonight’s game tweeted by Hanlon.

The Giants’ other inactives are quarterback Ryan Nassib, defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins, center David Baas, offensive tackle David Diehl, tight end Adrien Robinson and defensive end Adewale Ojomo.

For Dallas, offensive guard Brian Waters, wide receiver Cole Beasley, safety Danny McCray, offensive tackle Darrion Weems, running back Lance Dunbar and defensive end Caesar Rayford join Spencer as inactives.
