Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace had a quiet game in the 23-10 win over the Browns.
Wallace had one catch for 15 yards in the game while Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson combined for 16 catches, 221 yards and a touchdown. Wallace was quiet after the game, too, but that silence wasn’t because he wanted to let others be the center of attention.
Multiple media reports from the Dolphins locker room have Wallace saying “I don’t feel like talking” after the game and directing interested reporters to “ask coach” about the game plan because Wallace wasn’t the one who drew it up.
It’s not a good look to complain about your usage after a win, especially one that saw the passing game click with the other two receivers in part because of the attention that has to be paid to Wallace. It’s not something that has to become a problem for the Dolphins moving forward, but it’s certainly not the start they wanted for Wallace’s time with the Dolphins.
