Anquan Boldin might be old and expensive, and not much of a runner.

But the guy knows how to make a first impression.

Boldin was named NFC offensive player of the week, after his ridiculous 13-catch, 208-yard performance against the Packers. It was reminiscent of his 10-catch, 217-yard outing in his NFL debut, in 2003 for the Cardinals.

While the 32-year-old carries a heavy price tag ($6 million), the 49ers are glad to have him at the moment, while the Ravens are looking for someone to offer exactly what he provides after pawning him off brother-to-brother for a sixth-round pick.
