Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham will not have to face marijuana charges, if he can stay out of trouble for the next six months.

A judge in Upstate New York dropped marijuana charges against Bradham today, on the condition that he’s not in trouble with the law again for six months.

Bradham was cited for marijuana possession last month after he was pulled over and the police officer said he smelled marijuana. When the officer asked about the smell, Bradham handed him a plastic bag with a small amount of marijuana. Police do not believe he was under the influence while he was driving.

The judge also threw out a charge of driving with windows that were tinted too dark, which was the initial reason Bradham was pulled over.
