In standardizing the injury report, the NFL put numerical values on each category to make it easier to understand, i.e. questionable means a 50 percent chance of playing.

Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has a better way with words than numbers.

According to Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star, Charles was asked Friday how close to being 100 percent he was, and replied: “I’m ready-to-play percent.”

Charles went through a full practice and is listed as probable, but will obviously play, since he’s ready-to-play percent. That’s way better than any number or “virtual certainty to play.”

Cornerback Dunta Robinson is listed as questionable after being excused from practice for personal reasons, and tight end Travis Kelce was also questionable with a knee.
