Dunta Robinson will miss Sunday’s game

Robinson

Officially, Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson is listed as questionable on the injury report due to a personal absence. Unofficially, Robinson won’t play against the Cowboys.

PFT has confirmed, via a league source, that Robinson will not be available for the Week Two game against Dallas.

Ed Werder of ESPN, who reported that Robinson is likely to miss the game, says that Robinson’s cousin was struck by a car. Robinson’s cousin remains unconscious and in an intensive care unit.

Brandon Flowers and Sean Smith are the starters, but Robinson covers the man in the slot. Without him, someone else will have to step up and cover Miles Austin.

The other cornerbacks on the roster are Marcus Cooper and Ron Parker.
