Officially, the Texans say that receiver Andre Johnson is being evaluated for a concussion after absorbing a hard hit from Titans safety Bernard Pollard. Unofficially, Johnson most likely does.
The Texans, we’re told, didn’t make Johnson available to the media after the game, in accordance with league policy. League policy prevents players with concussions from being made available to the media after the game.
Ipso facto (I have no clue whether I’m using that correctly; I just like saying “ipso facto”) Johnson has a concussion.
If he does, Johnson won’t be able to practice without clearance from an independent neurologist. He’ll then need separate clearance to play.
