Raiders win, but it was just the Jaguars

As conditional as it might be, it still counts.

The Raiders won a football game, beating the Jaguars 19-9 Sunday, to improve to 1-1.

Darren McFadden rushed for 129 yards, which was good, because quarterback Terrelle Pryor didn’t have the same kind of eye-popping numbers as last week. Pryor had 50 rushing, and just 126 passing.

But that was enough.

The Jaguars had 123 total yards when Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew left the game with a sprained ankle in the second quarter. Though they announced his return as probable, he did not return, and the Jaguars missed him.

They finished with 248 yards, and have now scored 11 points this season. Most of the yards and the offensive touchdown came late, well after the outcome was in question.
