Fitzgerald apparently didn’t aggravate hamstring injury

Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald entered Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.  And he exited Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.

Per a team spokesman, Fitzgerald wore down in the second half of the win over the Lions before leaving.

The good news, at least for now, is that it appears Fitzgerald didn’t make the injury any worse.

Still, there’s only one way to fully heal a hamstring problem:  Rest.  And that doesn’t appear to be something Fitzgerald is inclined to do.

  1. So his hamstring was good enough to start the game, but not good enough to finish the game. How is this possible without getting worst during the game? Wore down? Are they saying he was simply out of shape? I call BS

  2. Yeah, personally recovering from a hamstring injury myself after it wiping out my entire summer to keep in tip-top shape. Anyhow, once you have had one its easy to re-injure it. Not sure if the Cards or any other team with Fitz on has that luxury of a couple weeks rest.

You might believe that but I don’t.
