Harrison finally gets a chance to hit Roethlisberger

Harrison

On Monday night, the Steelers will return to Cincinnati. As usual, linebacker James Harrison will be there. Not as usual, Harrison will be playing for the Bengals.

Which means he’ll finally get a chance to hit some Steelers. Specifically, their quarterback.

NBC’s Hines Ward, who played with Harrison in Pittsburgh, has said that no one could block Harrison in practice.

“We’ll test that theory tonight,” a Bengals source recently observed.

ESPN’s Jerome Bettis said that Harrison has even motivation than he’d have at a Steelers practice.

“He’s very upset about being tossed aside by the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Bettis said on the air. “He wants to show them that he had a lot left.”

One guy Harrison isn’t upset with is defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.

“I miss him,” an emotional Harrison told ESPN’s Jon Gruden in a sit-down that has been airing as part of the SportsCenter infinite loop.

The Steelers may decide as of tonight that they miss Harrison, too.
