Police, witness indicate Aldon Smith was very impaired

AP

San Francisco linebacker Aldon Smith was apparently very drunk when he crashed his car into a tree at 7 a.m. today.

Police say Smith’s blood-alcohol level was .15, according to the San Jose Mercury News. That’s nearly twice the legal limit.

One would think someone with a person who was that drunk at that time of day would struggle to practice later in the day, but Smith did hit the practice field after making bail, and 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Smith “seemed like he had his wits about him.”

According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, a neighbor who witnessed the accident said Smith’s foot was still on the accelerator of his SUV, which was against a tree, when police arrived. That caused the tires to smoke, and that suggests that Smith (who also had marijuana and pills in his possession) was seriously impaired.

Still, the 49ers plan to put Smith on the field. They’ve said that any discipline is going to have to come from the NFL, because the 49ers have no intention of disciplining Smith.

  1. There should be mandatory jail time for anyone that gets 2 or more DUIs. One is dumb enough. Too many innocent people die because some people aren’t smart enough to have a DD or call for a ride. If you can’t afford a taxi (doesn’t apply to NFL players), you probably shouldn’t be out drinking.

  2. Pretty sad for a franchise to suspend a player last year for lesser offenses to supposedly set an example but now look the other way when he has pot and pills on top of being drunk.

  3. What they didn’t tell you in the article was that JaMarcus Russell was in the passenger seat with a beer helmet filled with “Swizzurp”.

  4. I think it was the wrong move by the 49ers letting him come to practice and letting him play against the Colts on Sunday. I don’t know the details so I’m not gonna sit on my high horse and judge his actions and the team’s way of handling it but the kid needs someone to intervene. Something has to be done, he’s crying for help.

  5. This is an offense that the NFL takes very seriously.

We will review the case when all the facts come out in 3 years and the player will be issued a $15,000 fine to teach him a lesson. NEEEEXT!

  6. Who knew that being a pro football player was such a bad job that you need to go to work bombed?
Looks like you may soon see the real world son.

  7. Ordinarily, .15 isnt that high. drunk ? Yeah, most likely but
not crushed, .15 at 7 am? Thats .250 a few hrs earlier, meaning
    our boy was f-ed up

    That isn’t really very drunk.

    ——————————————————–

Maybe not, but it was 7 in the morning. I’d be more disturbed by him pulling an all nighter, being high, and being on pills on his way to practice. Not the work ethic you’d want from one of your best players.

  10. Friday’s incident marks the fifth 49ers-related DUI arrest in the last two and a half years!

A team of drunks, led by the pissy hot head coach……

  11. to the guy who said .15 isn’t all that drunk remember its a percentage of your body weight and blood mass for a guy at the 300 # area that’s a bit more but the fact that witness said he had his foot still pressed on the accelerator says maybe he was in a nod wow im a ram fan maybe goodell will suspend him on time to miss next Thursdays game most likely it will be much later but I agree this looks like a 6 gamer from here

  12. Niners, LOL — built on principle.

Dobbs, you stay home from STL with your rather straightforward DUI. “Aren’t we an impressive organization?”

Aldon, you’re more important, so stabbings and gun shot wounds at parties, 7 a.m. drunken accidents (including 2nd DUI), with marijuana and other controlled substances onboard: “Hey, this is a league issue.”

LOL, Harbaugh. Way to go. Hilarious. Such a leader of men.

    Get outta here, 49ers. Loserville.

  13. If this had happened to any player on any of the teams in he same division I’m betting Harbaugh would be demanding a suspension! What a great leader!!

  14. maybe he wasn’t drunk….
maybe he was staggering around cuz his ears are still ringing from a$$ whooping in Seattle..
    GO HAWKS!!!!!!

  15. once again proving what a PATHETIC orginization the panty whinners really are! hope every single one tears an ACL this week.
    LOSERS!!!

  16. Ok, I’m sure 90% of us here have been drunk. Now, how many of us have passed out at the wheel with our foot still on the gas??

    Nuff said. Kid’s got problem’s…

  17. Well luckily that wasn’t a bus stop for kids. Maybe harbaugh should consider that before letting that drunk retard play on Sunday.

  18. Pills + Alcohol are unpredictable. But sometimes, a blackout followed by doing something stupid, like driving, can happen. Doubt he even remembers the decision to drive.

This guy isn’t crying for help. He’s raising hell and partying. He doesn’t recognize that he needs the help. Oftentimes, events like this can shake up a man and get him to make changes. There’s no future drinking and popping pills. Players have overcome it and had great careers. I hope he can.

I doubt the team knew all the details when they spoke too soon on punishment. Betting Smith wasn’t forthcoming with the team but didn’t probably say anything untrue. These stories tend to unfold slowly.

  19. All joking aside, I don’t think he’s going to have to worry about the 49ers or the NFL discipling him, with a DUI, marijuana possession, the pills and hitting a tree…..I think law enforcement will do a pretty good job of it for them.

Let’s just hope his attorneys postpone the court appearances until after the season.

  20. Jim Harbaugh said Smith “seemed like he had his wits about him.”

Really? If this young man has any wits about him, he would not put himself any his community at risk.

  21. If Aldon Smith is still one of Harbaugh’s Gold Helmet guys, what are Josh Brent, Donte Stallworth etc? Platinum? The gold must be gold foil.

  22. Way to be tough on your players Jim. It’s easy to insult others but a different story when it hits home. Now go complain to the NFL that playing in the noise gave Aldon temporary brain issues that caused the drinking.

  23. . A BAC of .15 at 7 am is an alcoholic, especially on a guy with previous arrests for the same charge… If your drinking causes you problems, you’ve got a drinking problem….

  24. One would think someone with a person who was that drunk at that time of day would struggle to practice later in the day, but Smith did hit the practice field after making bail, and 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Smith “seemed like he had his wits about him.”

Those alcoholics never cease to impress….

  25. Seriously so of you loser fans are saying that the .15 isnt that bad? Why not look at the bigger picture like staying up all night, drunk, on pills, high , while car is running crashed into a tree. Yeah he was fine just a little error in judgement.

  26. How in the heck did he get out of jail so quick and in time for practice? Oh ya , I forgot this is gay land San Francisco.

  27. I agree with the above post suggesting he needs some help whether he likes it or not. Getting s**tfaced on a Thursday night first off, and you are a pro athlete that has practice the SAME day in season. Personally I’d be happy with pot alone. I’m guessing the pills were either adderall which would be for the quick re-cov or Xanax which sounds like he was on given his extreme intoxication.

He is a superhuman in my book for going to practice after a night like that.

  28. Remember when Michael Irvin was caught with hookers and blow numerous times? No suspension and what did Jimmy Johnson say? If he is a star he gets treated different than a PS player..I dont agree just saying. League should come down on him…

  29. wow…..a dui last year, guys getting shot at his apartment, trees jumping out at him while he is driving, and the niners feel its up to the league to take action…..I really don’t see the league doing anything. Now if he would have lowered his helmet and tackled the tree with his head instead of his car he would be suspended for a game for sure.

  30. Here is what I don’t get….. how a guy above can hope an entire team of men will get hurt and 4 people give that athumbs up. TThat’s disgusting. You horrible Human beings should be ashamed of yourselves. I understand rivalries, but when you actually wish harm to another man based on a GAME then I believe you should seek help from a professional. I love football and I love the intricacies of all the different rivalries but I have never once hoped a football player or players were injured. People like you should not be allowed in normal society and I sure hope you animals don’t breed.

If Aldon indeed blew a .15 then I am ashamed of him and he should get fined and suspended. There os no more room in this world for drunk driving.

  31. .15 really isn’t that much beer. It’s probably 6-7 beers for a guy of his size. Methinks the pills (maybe a benzo?) and weed are probably what knocked him out so hard

  32. markaw31 says:Sep 20, 2013 7:47 PM

    “That isn’t really very drunk.”

just like not being very pregnant….what a dumb ass !!!

  33. Wow, let’s forget he could have killed someone and that thankfully only a tree died. He needs to practice and get ready for the game. It’s all about winning. Forget public safety. What a classless organization.

  34. I, like many sanctimonious PFT commenters, have driven after drinking. I felt disgusted when I realized what could have happened.
I don’t think Smith is feeling disgusted. Only irritated that he got caught. At 7am. On the way to practice.
Think about it. 7am on a work day.

I honestly think the Niners will finish below .500 this year.

The league has caught up with the “Read-option” or whatever the heck it is they run in college ball. They aren’t built for the NFL game.
When Kaepernick starts getting beat up from taking hits, what are they going to do?

    Seattle exposed the whole myth…

  35. As a niners fan this kid needs to serve at least 4 games and hopefully teach him a lesson before he kills somebody. Dumbass

  36. Oh, will he be driving himself to stadium this Sunday at 7am? Ok, let’s just plan on him suiting up against the Colts

  37. Go to Deadspin.com and see how drunk he was.
What was he thinking, playing on Sunday and drunk as a skunk this morning.
49ers must be very proud of his behavior. I don’t understand what is wrong with these losers.
Too much money, and no brain.

  38. Just because it’s twice some arbitrarily low limit set by states so that they can make more arrests, it is not an indicator of him being “very drunk”.

Would he have been “less drunk” five years ago when the limit in most states was .10?

Would he be even “more drunk” if the limit was lowered to .05?

Not saying he wasn’t drunk and even if he was tipsy he should not have been driving. If a guy his size blew a .15 and was acting extremely intoxicated, then there was a lot more than alcohol involved, I can tell you that.

  39. The league will have to step in…the 9ers’ head office is playing this sleazy and Smith is going out of his head

  40. The BAC along with pills makes you stupid. He should be in jail. Could’ve hit a school bus at 7:00am. Moron.

  41. Hold up, now. Aldon Smith is innocent until proven…

No, I can’t say that with a straight face.

  42. Since the 49er organization doesn’t have the stones to reprimand one of their own – it’s going to be up to the league to lay the wood to this addict.

Let’s see if Rodger comes through …

  43. given the drinking problem history of Koren Robinson and Jerramy Stevens that degraded both of their careers, I as a Seahawks fan would be throwing stones from a glass house criticizing the Niners. Hopefully he had his driver’s license pulled though and was or will in the next few days be drug tested by the league. On the charges I assume it will have to go through the legal process first before there would be any suspension.

  44. they say .08 is three to four drinks in an hour, so lets say a pitcher of beer for example. So he would have had about 2 pitchers in an hour, because most likely even though hes a big guy, he probably has very little body fat. I’m sure he was on something else, but why are people acting like this is .3% or something saying “OMG he was so drunk” I bet most people have driven at .15, thats a little above buzzed for an regular drinker. not saying he wasn’t stupid for driving, but why is his BAC the main issue here?

  45. Reading this story now is even worse. I honestly don’t care if he gets a suspension or not but Von Miller gets 6 games for weed the NFL has to do something. Aldon Smith sounds like he needs to be put into a treatment facility or get his mind right outside of football because the guy is a talent. Blowing .15 at 7 am, WOW. Can’t imagine how high and drunk he was at 2 or 3 am.

  46. If this hasn’t been asked, how on earth has this guy been getting out of nfl drug tests.

I’m sure this isn’t a he first time he has had marijuana nor pill or more at the same time. How he has these outlandish parties and doesn’t get caught up draws some serious suspicions of that organization and if their is some possible tampering or cheating or covering up.

Harbaugh looks like a jacka$$ which I’m happy hea portrayed like that bc of all coaches he deserves it with his high horse.

  47. Not a 49ers fan but most organizations would let him play. What are you guys complaining about? Don’t act like the teams you follow wouldn’t do the exact same thing.

  48. Who’s got it better than us? Let’s see, 2 DUI’S, caught with rope and pills, (is that guilty?) alledgedly unloading a few rounds at a party, people getting stabbed, and arrested… He’ll be out there Sunday – wow! You reap what you sow 9ers. Golden opportunity to send your team and this loose cannon a message – you won’t catch Seattle for home field anyhow… Guess somebody’s gotta die first.

  49. As a Niners fan, this is disappointing to say the least. If coach doesn’t suspend him, I hope the league does. Four games and a fine and drug/alcohol counseling.

  50. I lost a friend in high school because of f#cker$ like this. She was hit while this drunk was going 80+ on a 25 mile limit.

This guy should be locked up for multiple DUIs and possession of marijuana. If they don’t do anything, the next time he drives drunk he could kill somebody. It could be one of your family.

Get rid of this trash. He belongs in jail.

  51. Well of COURSE The Niners are going to play him, I mean after all, it is rather obvious the front office figures that there’s no problem. Coach H. has declared, ” he seemed to have his wits about him.” See?…no problem here!!

  52. Guys get dui’s all the time and still play. Now hitting a tree, being found unconscious with your foot on the gas pedal? That’s just a threat to society and should not be allowed to roam the streets.

  53. Wait till all those tree huggers in San Fran find out what he did to that tree…

Oh wait, that’s only when it’s somebody from a conservative state…

    Or when the 49ers aren’t a contender…

    Kinda like the anti-war protesters.

When it’s your guy, it’s no problem.

  54. Has a team (not the NFL) ever benched/ discipline a guy for personal issues?

Did the steelers bench rothlisburger when he was crashing his motorcycle or allegedly groping women? Did the Seahawks bench Lynch? Broncos with Von? Hernandez?

Teams usually bench or suspended a guy when he does something wrong. Not showing up on time, or to practice, or to the stadium. All though, teams usually let that go to get a win on Sunday.

Should the 49ers do something, maybe, but they wouldn’t be the first team (or last) to let it slide.

  55. For the millionth time you idiotic hawk haters, if Adderral, or whatever the hake players took that got popped were “performance enhancing” why did those players play as good, or better (Sherman, Browner) when not taking them anymore (as they got tested weekly)? If your answer is “because them at stuff doesn’t enhance performance” then SHUT UP because it’s obviously not cheating.

  56. This fool got wasted, got with a chick or two, probably woke up at a teammates house half drunk, was heading home to shower and sleep a few mores hours before heading to practice. Had pot on him and I’m sure the pills were prescribed by the team doctor….. It’s how these guys roll sorry to dim your view of NFL role models.

  57. Kids in big trouble if he didn’t have a script for the pills. That’s a felony right there. Throw in the weed and a 2nd DUI…….he could see some jail time.

Oh wait…..he’s a famous athlete. He will get some probation, a fine, and community service. If that was one of us non famous citizens of this great country, we’d be wearing a number on an orange jumpsuit. BS.

Didn’t he read the little label on the pill bottle?? Alcohol may intensify the affect. Dude was on the nod……

  58. Should have just stuck his head out and yelled “Officer! It’s OK! I play for the 49ers!” like Hernandez

  59. To be fair, plenty of people are hammered drunk at 7am on a Friday. They usually aren’t pro athletes, but still.

  60. with guys like this is it any wonder some people look up and admire someone like Tebow? but oh we can’t have that can we? no much better to praise and promote people like this but let’s make fun of somebody who represents the clean life. nothing will happen to this clown until after the season when he is put on double secret probation and maybe have to spend a couple of weekends doing community service because that will really teach him.

  61. That organization on the terrible side of the Bay really embarrasses us.

    Sincerely,

    THE RAIDER NATION!!!!

  62. He could just be a young and irresponsible idiot but he could be a full blown alcoholic. Those are the only people who are hammered at 7am headed to work.

  63. Aren’t football players supposed to be “role models” for the youth? What kind of message is this sending? I’m sure this loser was still drunk at practice and it was acceptable.

  64. Imagine if Delanie Walker was still his teammate. He was passed out drunk with his foot on the accelerator and still blew almost double the limit after his slumber?

It is sad to see the 49ers fail to act. I hope the NFL takes the appropriate actions.

I also think of Nick Adenhart. It’s not just the fact the Smith got himself into the situation, he easily could have hit human and not a tree.

Too much money, and no brain…….

    ———————————————————-

They close their eyes, ignore the problem, so they don’t see anything wrong.

Next time, he may hit something other than a tree… and may hurt someone other than himself..

  66. Drunk with pills and marijuana in the car. Great role model, this guy should be in jail not playing football on Sunday

  67. Not impressed with the 49ers organization for turning a blind eye to this kind of behavior.

Thankfully, he didn’t injure anyone or himself.

  68. On another note, I wonder how long it’ll take the public backlash to grow to the point that the team changes their stance and suspend him proactively.

  69. Harbaugh said the League office has made it clear that it’s exclusive to the league to determine the consequences, not the team.
I am sure the team is doing everything they can do to get the obviously addicted kid some help. But when it comes to discipline the League has told the Niners to step aside and let them do their jobs. The League is investigating the arrest and when their investigation is done the team will be informed of the punishment.
Until then it will be like every other teams response to similar incidents, the player will play until the League hands down their judgment .
Harbaugh said today that it is better for Smith to man up and face his team mates .
Besides,if the team were to suspend Aldon that would be the perfect setting for Aldon to be alone and to take a further step into his addiction. Harbaugh is keeping him busy on the practice field !
And make no mistake about it,Harbaugh and Trent Baalke the GM are certainly not letting Smith off easily, they are just keeping their internal discipline in house, not for public consumption. The public stuff is for the League to do,after they investigate,as they informed the niners.

  70. To the gloating Seahawks fans….how many times has Lynch been arrested for DUI in the past several years? Is he up to 2 or is it 3 now? And refresh my memory…the team came down really hard on him, right?

  71. Great article at Footballoutsiders.com about how the 48er’s were better with A Smith. Their stats have a point.

  72. THIS is where the NFL needs to step in and suspend now. Not like he is even close to this being his first offense. Jim would DEMAND action if it was, oh, let’s say Richard Sherman. Two faced jerk needs taken down a couple of pegs.

  73. York profits from wins. Harbaugh is paid to win games. Aldon Smith is paid to win games and stay out of trouble. The league is responsible for image and consequences for inappropriate behaviors. Let them address it.

Aldon Smith is not my friend even if I was a season ticket holder. My relationship is watching him pressure and hopefully destroy the quarterback. It is weird to read from so many people concerned about someone they don’t even know.

  74. “There should be mandatory jail time for anyone that gets 2 or more DUIs. One is dumb enough. Too many innocent people die because some people aren’t smart enough to have a DD or call for a ride. If you can’t afford a taxi (doesn’t apply to NFL players), you probably shouldn’t be out drinking.”

Not only do NFL players get 24/7 shuttle/driver services anywhere, they have bodygaurds on call at anytime and obviously plenty of entourages who can give them a lift home from a bar.
Not to mention they can afford a LIMO EVERY NIGHT if they wanted to every weekend for their careers.

  75. As a Niner fan I am ashamed by Aldon’s actions, as well as the Niners… He should be suspended at least 3 games by the team… Harbs you can not talk smack about the hawks and then just let this go with out at least looking into it. Let him play sunday, and if he had drugs in the car, YOU MUST SUSPEND HIM!!!!

I bleed red and gold, I have for 20+ years, the reason I chose the Niners is they were the class of the NFL, I live in Texas and was raised to be a Dallas fan, but they did not have the class the Niners did. DO NOT SHAME ME now.

  76. footballfan says:

“If this had happened to any player on any of the teams in he same division I’m betting Harbaugh would be demanding a suspension! What a great leader!!”

Marshawn Lynch was arrested and jailed for a DUI over a year ago and nothing has happened. He hasn’t missed a game. And, it wasn’t Lynch’s first offense. He has been suspended by the league before.

Some of you Niner haters just have no idea what you’re talking about. Pathetic.

  77. Been a die hard Niner fan since ’79. One of the reasons the change in our fortunes under Coach Harbaugh tastes so sweet, was the way we went about it. We didn’t secretely video, or otherwise cheat our opponents, we did it with integrity and hard work. That said…….

As much as I love Aldon Smith as a player, and as much as I personally hate to see him miss a single defensive snap, much less be suspended if that is the outcome, he must be held to the same standards as the Seattle guys who use adderal, or the Bengals guy who chin checks a woman at a bar at 2 in the morning. Further, I agree with some of the folks who have commented above, in that there does indeed seem to be a double standard with Coach Harbaugh’s adjudication of team justice. I still thank the Lord we have him, but whats right is right.

Coach, in 2011 we won with determination, creativity, and integrity. It was a thing of beauty to witness it. Please, do not undo the good you have done with My / our Niners, by taking the easy or hypocritical route on team discipline.

    Go niners

    ____________________________

how many other teams had DUI problems? This sort of thing is a league wide problem.

  79. If this is true about him being passed out against a tree drunk. He should miss the season. And be sent to rehab. You cannot behave like that and put others in harm with your ignorance. If he plays sunday I lost all respect for the 49ers

  80. PED’S that Seattles’s Shermer and their defensive ilk lives on constitutes such unfairness on the playing field that every reader here who has never taken Adderall should rethink everything. Advantage, young Adderall users. Thank you bankrupt pop-psychology and your pathetic ADD diagnosis.

  81. To all the morons who say he’s crying for help – SHUT-UP!! He’s just another arrogant player who thinks he can party all he wants because he’s above everybody else. I hope the league bends him over good!

  82. I hope Aldon Smith realizes that he needs to grow up and leave his wildness behind him or his NFL career should be taken away from him. It’s time these knuckleheads stop getting five, six, second chances.

  83. Coach Harbaugh needs to do the right thing and discipline him. What is that showing the kids these days . These are not the college ranks anymore this is a pro level organization

  84. Multiple DUIs, weed and pills in the car, being investigated for a shooting, and he did not miss a single practice.

America: land of justice for some.

  85. As a long time niners fan I find it disturbing that at the very least the team has yet to step up and do anything about this kid. Harbaugh and the rest of the organization’s seemingly nonchalant reaction about the situation and previous ones aren’t really helping matters either. This is a lot bigger than how many sacks he will have on Sunday, as it seems Aldon is destined to either get himself hurt or hurt someone else. Unfortunately, I don’t see the organization or the NFL doing anything until that happens, at which point it will be too late. For a franchise with such a rich history and long list of all-time great and classy players, I kind of expected more from the niners.

  86. It’s not like he was drunk at work. The NFL shouldn’t punish people for what they do on their own time. That’s what cops are for.

  87. Hey at least in our bad days back when we had all kinds of trouble, the team had no problem disciplining players. Gotta love the niners statement that they refuse to discipline. Just shows they don’t care of their players are scum and could kill someone. As long as they win it’s all good.

Too bad Joe Staley wasn’t there to cheap shot some sense into him. This organization and the fans go together well: absolutely zero class.

    ———–
Your an idiot, as an olinemen, number one goal is to protect ur qb! So as far as joe staley goes, dude has class and a hell of a player

As far as smith and ppl saying .15 not that drunk, lets remember this accident was at 7am! Guy was wasted night before, high, and on pills! With all his past baggage, they should give him a year! No reason for him to be driving impaired! He needs to be made an example as a repeat offender that just doesnt get it

  90. For the record, Lunch has as many DUIs as Harbaugh does, 1. His is questionable as he did not blow over the limit at the scene, but he did at the station. Lynch was drinking in the off season, not on the way to work. He also has a misdemeanor gun charge for carrying a concealed weapon and he had a charge dropped for hitting a woman with his vehicle. No saint, but he’s been in the league alot longer, and he wasn’tpissed out behind the wheel at the scene… At

  91. Yeah and Riley Cooper had to go through scrutiny and pointless rehab for saying the N word, which is comical when spoken since black people say it all the time. Such foolish double standards. Cooper should NEVER have been punished for anything, maybe a pat on the back would have sufficed. So Smith deserves like a 6-8 game suspension based on Coopers or Millers punishments

  92. You all sound like the whiners, bitching up a storm. Waa waa punish him waa. I suppose you’ve never driven impaired? Yeah ok. Judge not shall be judged first.

  93. This is why 9ers won’t get to the SB this season:

    1) Kapernoob failed and choked in the SB just last season, every opposing team is
ready to knock of the 9ers who represented in the SB for the NFC.

     2) The running game isn’t as good with Kapernoob as it was with Alex Smith and
Gore the work horse of the 9ers RB is past 30.

    3) Kapernoob’s offense march down the field much faster, unlike with Alex Smith,
which weakens the 9er defense cause they have to be on the field longer and more often

    4) This is Kaper”noob”‘s 1st full season though every opposing defense
have game tape on him and the overused unsurprising QB option.

    5) The 49ers WR CROP still fails even though Harb and Baalke has had 3 Seasons to
    improve and fix it.

    6) Seattle has improved both on defense and offense roster wise, they are even harder to beat
at home with the 12th man now and will have a very good record, which means they have a good chance of winning the division and gaining home field advantage through out play-offs.

    7) Aldon’s DUI doesn’t help anything, , in fact it makes Harb look like a HC with no discipline and the team look bad.

    8) Harb’s constant whining and double talk about players and to the media is Bad
    Karma and it shows.

    9) Kapernoob’s over hyper over rated off season publicity, commercials, magazines
got to his head, he showed his true maturity by sporting a dolphins hat and got defiant about it when confronted by fans. He needs to be knocked off of his high horse and realize he isn’t elite yet and he
hasn’t earn that status, maturity or respect.

Well luckily that wasn’t a bus stop for kids. Maybe harbaugh should consider that before letting that drunk retard play on Sunday.

They won’t have bus stops for kids on the field Sunday.

At least I would be surprised.

OK, I’ll admit Smith may have actually got pissed, drugged up and stoned and hit a tree with his car.

I’ll also admit he may have been found with his foot still on the gas.

But I will NEVER believe he was pregnant.

they say .08 is three to four drinks in an hour, so lets say a pitcher of beer for example.
    ——————————————————

Dude, he hit a flipping tree with his car.

He was passed out with his foot still on the gas and the car in gear.

He had pills and goofy boots.

Saying he was drunk isn’t an indictment.

    It’s an excuse!

Six game suspension coming. Anything less should make Von Miller available immediately

    —————————

Right, and Von Miller tried to manipulate and cheat the testing process? Both linebackers are idiots.

  99. This reminds me of Donte Stallworth. Only difference, it was a person, not a tree. He was drunk driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.12 and under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident. He was charged with DUI manslaughter, but only received 30 days and a life-time suspension of his Florida state driver’s license. Goodell suspended him for the entire 2009 season without pay.
