According to one longtime Texans reporter, safety Ed Reed will be making his regular-season debut for the club on Sunday.

Reed will start against his old club, the Ravens, on Sunday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported this morning.

Per McClain, Reed has been “going full speed in practice.”

Reed, 35, has intercepted 61 passes in regular-season play since entering the NFL in 2002, creating a legacy as one of the NFL’s premier playmaking defensive backs of his generation.
