Report: Frank Gore angry at Jim Harbaugh

Reuters

Frank Gore was one of the few 49ers who played well in today’s loss to the Colts, running 11 times for 82 yards and catching two passes for 21 yards. Which leads to the question: Why did Gore only get 13 touches?

That may be the question Gore wanted answered when, according to Kevin Lynch of the San Francisco Chronicle, he was angry at coach Jim Harbaugh at the end of the game.

Lynch reports that Gore “had choice words” for Harbaugh near the end of the game, as Gore was taking the field toward the end of the 49ers’ 27-7 loss.

Gore would hardly be the first running back to get upset with his coach about how often he’s getting the ball, but if Gore and Harbaugh aren’t seeing eye to eye, that would be one more indication that things are not going well in San Francisco right now. Two weeks ago, after the 49ers opened the season with a win over the Packers, many NFL observers thought San Francisco was the best team in football. Now the 49ers have lost two in a row, by a combined score of 56-10.

Whatever is going wrong in San Francisco, the 49ers need to get it fixed in a hurry.

  1. Blame Roman and the pathectic gameplan he dials up for big games. This has been an issue since te Nfc champ game against the Giants.

The receivers didnt exactly help either in the last couple games.

  2. Good for Gore. I’d be pissed too!

Ever since Kaep came in Harbaugh and Roman have called a poor game. They need to run the ball like they did with Alex under center.

  3. Well I have been saying this for a long time now and I still feel passionately that Harbaugh is not a good Head Coach. He’s not a smart strategist and I don’t see him helping key guys like Kaepernick to develop. This is not a productive and shrewd and calculating coach. He’s just flying by the seat of his pants. The 49ers need to have somebody that can help get the most out of the players and make smart decisions to keep everything under tight control with high quality.

Harbaugh can’t deliver the goods of what this team needs.

  4. Harbaugh has been out coached the past two games and the players are taking a beating out their. It’s time for ownership to bring Coach and GM in for a meeting and find out why this team is not competing.

  5. Who would have thought the 49ers would be a mess in week 3?

And while it’s fun for opposing fans to pick on them right now, who honestly thinks the 9ers aren’t going to make the playoffs?

Like them or hate them, the 49ers have too much talent to miss the playoffs this year.

  6. Nothing that can’t be fixed in four days when they play the Rams…right?

What once was a matchup of two potential West contenders is now more of a fight for survival. Loser will be 1-3 with a season that’s starting to circle the bowl.

  7. Hate on haters. Esp Seahawk fans. 13 games left in the season. Hopefully they get things corrected but love how everyone is crowning seabirds and all is lost in SF. Look at just last season, Ravens were imploding but they got it together and won SB. Save your smirks til playoffs.

  8. Totally Agree with Frank Gore on this one. They just seemed to forget about him. In a close game at home it just didn’t make sense. Maybe Harbaugh’s love affair with Kaep is as bad as the media’s. Fact is he has terrible days too. Their team has scored 10 points in two games, including a 7 point outing at home against a below average defense on a day Frank Gore looked hot.

I just find it funny the irony of media seeing what they want to see. For instance, Christian Ponder has put up 24, 30, and 27 points, yet is all the blame of the Vikings being 0-3. Kaep has scored 10 points in the last two games combined and receives no blame. I just think that’s stupid. Meanwhile Alex Smith is 3-0…

  9. Jim Harbaugh’s got a great mind. His temperament and ego, however, could tear this team apart. He is not his brother–not by a long shot.

  10. Niners didn’t have Davis or crabtree, kap shoulda ran the option with gore more but they don’t want kap to get hurt. Wait till November niner haters hahaha (evil laugh)

  11. 49ers psyche in need of repair. Getting punched by Seahawks and realizing they’ve got work to do, then Aldon Smith, and a really bad day by CP. Team is “in its head”. Reminded me of how the Raiders played right after Barret Robbins fiasco. For Niner fans, let’s hope the demise is short lived and Harbaugh gets the team’s mental toughness back. We need strong football in the bay area.

  12. Gore has had one really good game and now thinks he can attack his coach on game planning? I mean, c’mon… Good ol’ Frank needs to take his throbbing leg muscles, his great ability, his broad/glistening shoulder muscles, his many years of experience, and his throbbing biceps and JUST PLAY FOOTBALL!

  13. woah woah woah woah woah woah…woah……woah……..woah…….woah………….woah………woah……………woah……………………….woah. I thought the Redskins name was offensive? What happened to those posts? I guess the team needs to be a little more defensive to have their name to be considered offensive again.

  14. There’s nothing going wrong with the 49ers. Actually, they never really ranked in the top 3. The only team they beat so far is the Packers, who aren’t that good either. I never understood why the “experts” had SF ranked so high. The Saints are the third best team, or maybe even better. 49ers arrogance was a total sham.

  15. Have to agree: running the rock’s our identity, and we haven’t been doing it enough.

For those with off the cuff, snoody comments: I wonder how many are fans of winning teams;)

But yes, let’s get back to basics in San Fran and run the rock. And, did we forget about James all of the sudden?!

  16. Yeah, while watching the game i questioned where is Gore?? Riddle me this you have the biggest offensive line and Gore was running well and looked spry and then you take the ball out of his hands. Yep, i will be mad too.

  17. It seems there are a ton of players that aren’t happy with their coaches. Each player is a piece of the puzzle. When is the last time a player complained to the media and then something good happened? Usually it adds another layer of adversity that must be dealt with. I wish they would just shut up and do their jobs instead of complaining.

  18. The 49ers need to have somebody that can help get the most out of the players and make smart decisions to keep everything under tight control with high quality.——————————————

What? Harbaugh took this team from 6-10 to 13-3. Get a grip. This team is missing Crabtree and Vernon Davis, Mario Manningham, LaMichael James, Ian Williams. Not to mention the rookies, Lattimore and Tank, who have basically been redshirted. This team is still loaded and not going anywhere soon. Might be a tough year but it’s still early.

  19. People forget this was a championship caliber team before Kaepernick came into the picture. They ran the ball, played good defense and had a QB who didn’t turn the ball over. Now they act like CK is the reason they are good and have fallen in love with the pass. Go back to basics, Niners.

  20. Frank Gore, postgame: “I work so hard in the weight room, in camp, in the off-season and I think I’m much stronger now than when I was a rookie. My throbbing leg muscles are much bigger and mature.”

Gore’s been there, done that. But Hardbaugh is a dope couch… all that and bag of chips. Holla!

  21. I’d be annoyed if I was Frank too. Maybe not to the extent I would want to come at with my coach with knuckles..but all jokes aside the playcalling last few weeks has been putrid. Kaep cant throw the ball worth a darn from inside the pocket. The 49ers were their best when they had Kap doing the read option (that’s gotten figured out), and when they were using a ton of unbalanced lines with tackles as tight ends and just running power counter and PA with Alex. Its back to the basics of football, having played QB I love to throw the ball but if I was a coach you need to be able to run the ball well.

You can always throw it how many times you need to. Ex- Alex 20 times, Aaron Rodgers 50. When Alabama gets behind (against Georgia, and AM) they RUN the ball instead of throw. Granted that is Alabama but I don’t understand why Roman and so many OCs in general are throwing the ball 85 % of the time on 3rd and 2. not even pa passes. You kill your own drives and keep your defense out on the field. The niners defense was out there all day..they actually played well until they got wore down.

Oh and I am glad alex is doing well.. gobble gobble turkey turkey.

  22. Beastmode:

it’s one thing to cheer on your team when they are playing the 49ers, and its another to jump on every 49ers story and post multiple times how happy you are the team is struggling right now. The Universe gives you back what you put out, and if you are reveling in other’s misfortunes, lookout.

  23. Ridiculous Ridiculous Niner Haters out there. Maybe time to act like you’ve already graduated from Junior High school.

  24. How many people liked Ahmad Bradshaw lowering the crown of his helmet, and whitner getting flagged for a shoulder hit?

  25. Horrible gameplan all around! Should be ashamed of themselves! Supposed NFC favorite for the Super Bowl can’t do anything. Can’t pass, can’t get open, can’t stop offenses, can’t force turnovers, can’t stop teams on 3rd down, which ultimately leads to “can’t win”!!! Sad. Lots of talent there playing with their heads in the clouds. Hate to say but we will b no where near playoffs if we keep playing like this!

  26. 49ers fans are so silly, they make comments like “let us know when ur team wins something” no, 49ers fans, let US know when YOU win something, lol

  27. man who would’ve thought winning five super bowls, winning the west a couple years on a row, winning the NFC, going to the super bowl, last year, would create so much hate…..oh yeah these are probably fans of the teams we pummeled on the way there!

  28. Pickledgringo…. I totally agree. Look at our game plan last year in Seattle, this year in Seattle, the first half in Atlanta and the Super Bowl last year! Plus not to mention today! I’d love to be able to understand what their plan was. “To get killed the last 2 games”?

  29. Its hilarious how people on here whose bias against a team like this fly off the handle and say this team is “done” after 2 poor outing”. Theres 13 games to go.

The Ravens last year, Giants the year before and Packers year before that all hit rough patches where things looked bleak and everyone said exactly what you’re saying now, and look how those stories ended.

Its week 3. No one anywhere really knows what theyre talking about yet, so settle down.

    ===========================

    Good point.

Kicking your arse is certainly not significant any more.

    Everyone is doing it.

  31. Too much media these days, make a gigantic story about everything. Has there never before been a player mad at their coach? I think it’s good Gore is mad, he is right I feel but let’s not act like this is Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burns. A man or group can only truly grow through struggle, which is good because they are struggling plenty. You don’t go 25-9-1 without an ability to coach. There is some need for humility in them right now, but to act like this is the end is way premature.

“seahags” are 3-0 and fartywinos are what? 1-2? HaHaHa

  33. Wasn’t it just ten minutes ago that the whole world was touting the read option offense as the greatest thing since the Packer sweep? I think it’s time to take a step back and put the brakes on that bandwagon!

  34. Always love seeing this. The beginning of the end. The whiners 2 year “run” is over. RIP whiner nation!

Whiners fans talk more about their antique Super Bowl wins last meleneum. There’s been 3 presidents since the the Whiners won a Super Bowl, those 3 presidents have all served 2 terms and Whiner fans wanna talk about Super Bowls that happened during the disco and frizzy hair era. Most of them weren’t even alive when they won their last one or first one. Most real 49ers fans were extinct before 2011. Now the ones that weren’t around during the losing and ancient winning teams wanna brag like they JUST WON Super Bowls. Then the morons wanna compare a team that started playing in 1946 to a team that started playing in the late 70’s. Get a clue. I can respect Giants Ravens Steelers fans because at least their teams won a Super Bowl recently. Listening to whiners fans retort the same dumb lines like Jerry Rice and Steve Young are fresh off Super Bowl wins is tiring because it’s such a dumb argument for today’s football world. Or at least this decades football world

You mean like the first 3 games of the ‘2013’ season?
    It’s not ‘1994’ anymore…
Just think; next year it will be 20 years since that LAST 9er’s Super Bowl win!

    GO HAWKS!

  36. Frank is a pro. Being angry is understandable given he was running all over Indy until the niners got down an insurmountable 3 point margin and decided to throw on every down.

  37. This is deeper then todays game.. Frank didn’t like that Alex got benched, its a well known fact that frank called the pistol offense fake football.. And most importantly he didn’t touch the ball on the goal line in the sb.. Harbaugh decision to bench Alex wasn’t a popular move in the lockeroom..

  38. 69ers are going down. The only saving grace is that they are playing another POS team next week the Lambs.

  39. The comparison of kaep and ponder is ridiculous. The defense and special teams, not to mention AP have accounted for a major chunk of the points. Ponder has made countless mistakes when the game gets close and its on the line. If ponder was decent Blair Walsh wouldn’t have to boot so many 50+ yard field goals

We live in the present……and this era is ours.

    GOHAWKS

  41. Thought Kap was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Hmm, wonder what happened….only his 12th game, looks like a rookie. OK.

  42. 49ers looked and played like they were hung over … maybe they were.

One guy gets caught for DUI at 7:00 in the morning – but one has to ask – how many didn’t get caught?

  43. silentcount – I never understood why the “experts” had SF ranked so high.

    ———————————–

Because they barely lost the Superbowl last year. You dumb ass moron.

  44. I am a die hard Hawks fan, but don’t count the 49ers yet. They are a great team that has hit a road block. We play Houston in a early game. One loss by Seattle and a win by San Fran and its a brand new ball game. Go Hawks

  45. Harbaugh hasn’t brought out the best in his players?? Before he got to San Fran we had virtually the same team… Alex smith- obviously now with the chiefs, Davis, Gore, Crabtree- all players with the 9ers pre harbaugh era that couldn’t win more then 4 games a season. I think he has brought out or has got out the best in those players. Not every player on every team is going to agree with their coach. Its not always going to be great week to week. There all 100 different excuses why the 9ers aren’t playing well/winning. Fact is Harbaugh is being completely out coached. It is however only the 3rd week of the season. They’ll have to figure it out and figure it out soon and until then you hawk and packers fans can keep jerking each other off! I also see teams like the packers and falcons are 1-2 and the giants are 0-3 but no one seems to be pushing the panic button on them? What is it with the infatuation with the 9ers. Don’t you all 9er haters have your own team articles to read about?

  46. I’m with you Frank!!! He was running all over those clowns!!! Then it was pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass the whole damn night!!! Niners could have easily rolled ALL OVER the Colts if we would have kept running the ball!!! Open up play action all day and possibly see a Quinton Patton TD BUT NOPE!!! ALL PASS ALL DAY!!! JUST LIKE JIMMY RAYE WITH THE RUN!!! PATHETIC!! LOVE MY NINERS but come on Greg Roman!!! Come on Harbaugh!! Frsnk is right!! You completely abandoned the run and it cost us the game!!! You owe us fans but MOSTLY these players much more then this!!

  47. I saw the game. The. 49ers were running the ball at will. If they had a run heavy approach they would have won easily. It was strange watching that game.

It was like watching Roberto Duran trying to fight like Sugar Ray Leonard. It was strange.

    ———————————————————–

It’s a bit too bad that you cannot call on the power of past trophies to win a couple games these past 2 weeks.

Niners can hit as hard as anyone in the NFL, they just buckle like a girl when you hit them back.

  49. Enjoy football while you still can. By 2015 when the Kenyan jihadist implements full sharia martial law, you’ll be watching camel racing on Sundays instead. Truly sickening, makes me want to vomit. God Bless!

  50. Dude Kaep is not a leader. Yeah he’s young but come on the guy looked like he was nervous after smoking pot and being grilled by his parents at the press conference.

Kaep, besides all of the other tape you need to watch to clean up your suffering game, fit in a short vid of Drew Brees or Tom Brady’s press conferences to see how a man handles questions.
    It’s embarrassing.

  51. “When your team actually wins something significant, let us know.”

HA! … The Seahawk gutted the Niners the last 2 meetings, this last time to the point that they haven’t yet dragged their asses up off the canvas yet and completely missed this week’s game and their delusional fans don’t think it significant.

Next game’s Thursday fellas, get the smelling salts already!

  52. Been a fan of this game all my 47 years (or at least the ones I knew the games existed).. and this wouldn’t be the first team that shook to pieces at the first sign of adversity. Harbaugh and the 49er’s started out from day one together as a winning team. They had stocked up on talent from the 10 or so losing season they had before Harbaugh arrived. They never had to suffer and crawl from the bottom up TOGETHER… and it seems Harbaugh has built a great front runner that quits when the other horses start kicking dirt in their faces…

  53. I have no dog in this fight…but it was obvious last year and this year that the Seahawks are the better team. The composition and the coaching are both better. Also, all of these arrogant comments from niner fans crack me up. All of these folks are happy to pile on and kick you while you’re down for a reason….because your fanbase and your players are smug and overconfident. You talk down to everyone like your team is so great. News flash niners…Kaepernick fell into a championship team and had one good year….sort of. Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck are both better QBs in every aspect of the game. And one more thing….you all seem to have forgotten after a mere two seasons of success that your team has only put together 4 winning seasons since 1999….and they came in pairs…..8 years apart. We aren’t mad. We are just tired of hearing you talk about how great you are. The rest of us simply aren’t sold yet. You could prove us all wrong. Good luck. My money remains on the Seachickens, but you should be able to scrape yourselves up and get a division win over the Rams….so you got that going for ya.

  54. The bandwagon’s wheel fall off and those thousands of “49er fans” are breaking out their Charger/Raider jerseys. Back to back loses at a score of 56-10 – their QB still looks shell shocked, Frank Gore calling out the coach, best pass rusher singing an Amy Winehouse song and going to visit the Rams who had their number last year. Talk about hilarious

    ——————————————————-

Dominating the 49ers last week was totally insignificant. They’re only a 1-2 team. LOL

  56. The best part of todays game is that the 49er defense has become a joke.. Two years ago it took 15 weeks to give up three rush tds. The last two weeks rbs have LITERALLY been walking into the endzone.

  57. Gore was gashing the defense in the first quarter…then Roman and Harbaugh decided to go to a pass happy offense with a horribly inaccurate, deer in the headlights, rookie looking QB?

    I’d be pissed too.

I also love the irony of the people blaming the poor passing game on the WRs…yet blamed Alex Smith for the loss against the Giants in the NFC Championship game 2 years ago. What a joke.

  58. Seachicken fans are the Logicalvoices of the NFC west. They’re immature, classless, and still living in mommy’s basement posting while stuffing themselves with Cheetos.

  59. First ill start by stating im a die hard Seahawks fan, with that said, it is horrible all the comments I have read by many fans from many teams about Aldon Smiths DUI issues and seeking of help. I have my opinions about the issur and how it was handled and what id do differently. That being said, we should not use this incident and fan rivalry and banter due to the seriousness of the issue. Someone could have been hurt or killed and thankfully that is not the case. This is a huge issue in America today and I can only hope he gets the help he needs and others will learn from his mistake and the could have beens in the situation. Personal issues of players or serious matters should not be used to make one player, team, or coach look better than the other, this is a real issue and we all should be thankful no one was harmed and that Aldon is going to recieve help. It is in his court now, give him the roon and time to work o himself to get better. Who knows he could become an advocate against drunk driving and help others in the future. We all make mistakes and have to take peraonal responsibility for our actions whether they are positive or negative. I wish you all a great night and great season. Go Hawks!

  63. I spent most of the game in the bathroom the craps. That’s pretty much what they looked like today. What’s up with all the penalties?

  64. Ninerfaningb……..This was about SF and the potential problems they are having. I agree that Seahawks need to win a SB…..Hopefully this or in the next few years they will have met that final goal. However, I think it is significant that they have handled SF the last two meetings…..Just to let you know.

  65. Anyone here actually watch the game? 1st and 10 – Run by Gore for 7 yrds. 2nd and 3 – Stuffed run by the Colts D. 3 and 3 – Stuffed run by the Colts D….If you only resort to running it on short downs, you’re going to get stuffed and then the Whiners figured that we had their number on the ground game….we just knew when they were going to run it….thanks to Kaepernick and the rookie receivers to put it all on Gore. Lets be honest though he ran awesome on 1st down then we knew it was coming…Go Colts!!!!!!!!!!!!

  66. I do not understand the rationale of the 9ers at this time. I would be upset as well. Coach H has a lot on his plate and it isn’t a good.. Run Gore and clear the locker room of athletes that cannot stay out of trouble.

Well, ok, you can expect our phone call in February.

  68. to all you seachicken fans its early we’ll get things right and we’ll be waiting for you at the stick!!! The warriors should be damn good this year OH WAIT you dont have an nba team anymore i forgot!!! lol

  69. for all you goofballs out there that say things like Kap is 1-2 and alex smith is 3-0 it takes more than a qb to get a win or a loss retards

  70. Not a good head coach? Are you brain dead? He has won at every program he has coached. Regardless of the issues they are having this year, he took SF to TWO NFC Championships and a superbowl.. I fail to see where you could possibly see him as a bad coach.. A tool? Maybe, Sore loser?, Maybe, Jerk? Maybe but none of that reflects on his ability to do his job and that is to win games..

  71. Love that shechicken’s troll our teams news… It’s kind of sad… I know, us 49er fans live in the past… Actually, we live in the current, 3-2 over the shechickens the past two seasons and current NFC west Champs 2 years running… But better yet, we have a team with history, a legacy, something to be proud of… We have Rings and Trophy’s… The shechickens have a front office that’s still paying for an empty, dust collecting glass case… Finish a season out at least once, then come back and ask permission to speak…

  72. Harbaugh is looking at one thing, thats Kaepernick, he sees Kaepernick as this big 100 yard a game rusher and 300 yard passer, and its doing nothing. Let Harbaugh keep going that direction though.

  73. @ninerfaningb
Maybe you should get back to us when the Whiners actually win another game.
BTW, Whiners record in the last ten years 69-91.
Now tell us again about those rings your great grandma’s Whiners won, loser.

  74. I find it funny how Seahawk fan can think they know anything about winning. Don’t worry Seahawk fan, your coach will get caught cheating again, perhaps Pete will be seen with Aldon having a drink together !!!!!

  75. Boy I’ll tell ya, taking Boldin’s $7million contract this year really outsmarted Ozzie Newsome and those silly Ravens.

    *******

Well this year the Seahawks are 3 and 0 including a stomping against the 1-2 niners.

Everybody here knows it is a long season, but it is also a new season.

Meaning that your team hasn’t won anything special either.

Right now the Seattle defense is tearing others teams apart.

The offense still needs work. The O-line is looking a little thin.

Houston looks like they could be a challenge. Looking forward to how the Hawks handle that game.

  77. and the last time that you won a super bowl the best part of ya was running down your mommies thigh.

it’s been almost two decades since you won anything. stop living in your parents glory. Steve young, jerry rice, and George siefert aren’t running on that field Thursday night.

since 1995, SF has won ZERO championships and they have appeared in ONE. the exact same as the Hawks. for now that is.

on February 4th, the Hawks will be in the Meadowlands, doing what Crybaugh and the FortyWhiners failed to do last year….

bringing the Lombardi home to the NFC West.

now go tighten up your chassity belts and try and figure out how to get yourself back to .500 ball on Thursday night. run along kiddos.

  78. I love the 2 year pent up piling on Harbaugh, especially at this premature point of the season.
The Falcons and Packers are 1-2, the Bears have 2 of their wins by a combined 4 points to go with a down to the 4th quarter win over the terrible Steelers, the whole NFCE East is pretty terrible, the rest of their own division outside of Seattle is almost as terrible, and the 49ers were in both of the games they just lost in the 4th quarter. Not to mention that they hold a tie breaker with the Packers.

One thing I’ve learned over the years, the September Super Bowl doesn’t exist.

Remember the 3-1 Dream Team a couple of years ago? Remember the Texans were the “best team in football” this time last year? Remember the 4-0 Rich Brooks Rams back in 1995?

In other words, why don’t you people from the peanut gallery calm down.

  79. So what? I hate the 40Whinners, and this is not a big deal. Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy were yelling at each other. I’m sure Aaron was telling Mike to lose some weight, and Mike was telling Aaron to stop stalling and call Braun back. Ah Drama, we miss you so…

  80. It’s obvious what the problem is. You can’t turn Kap into Alex Smith. Now before you blast that let me explain. Look at the system. It was incredible for Smith because it was precise, controlled, and required him to either make the pass or let Gore take the load.
So here the coach is trying to run the same thing and Kap looks like a contained rabbit jumping around wanting to break loose. The defenses are covering for Kap which means they are already stopping the run (as much as they can).
I’m sorry, but with a QB like Kap, you gotta change things up and unleash him a bit more. If you keep him contained to not risk injury, then we really should have stuck with Smith, simple as that.
So either Coach has got to revise the game plan to fit Kap, or he’s gotta trade for another QB like Smith. You can’t contain a greyhound, if you try it just squirms.
    Those are my thoughts.

  81. But..but… Colin Kapaernick……but…but….read option…..but ……. but…best defense….. but …but……Coach Jim Harbauchs’s a genius guru!…….but….but……Superbowl last year…….but……but……Colin…

  82. They should probably start Alex Smith, oh, nevermind.

  83. This team was built and succeeded from the ground game. Even though Kaep can throw, the 49ners have lost their identity. The defense has also lost its tenacity. They have 2 of the best LBs in the game, how about blitz packages, it always seem like they are in coverage. If this continues, the downward spiral sure happened quick, back to reliving the post Young days.

Seahag fans are hilarious… lol. When your team actually wins something significant, let us know.
    ———————————————————-

When you come up with a less overused line/excuse…let us know.

Oh and not that you bothered to actually read the comments that preceded yours, but there was about 1-2 Seahawks fans that posted prior to your witty response, so way to assume.

  85. Ya all these incentives for mo money in the contracts are causing angst. He can do the math and if he doesn’t get X yardage he doesn’t get X bonus money. Its all about him and not necessarily the team winning or losing.

Last week Brown railed on his coach for lack of passes coming his way. Last night they threw everything at him to make up for it and lost.

  86. Niner fans are more interested in hating on other teams than they are liking their own. They deserve no less than their current situation.

Just a big, reprehensible company whose specialty is hating on the last team that curb-stomped them in an act of pure humiliation.

Go Indy/Sea!!!!! The public thanks you!

  87. I like how any time Seahawks fans trash talk on 49ers articles you get these guys saying ” act like winners” or ” have some class”. I’d like to point out to those 49whiner fans with thin skin that watching football is all about trash talk. I have friends that are Bears and eagles fans and all we do is trash talk. Suck it up. Go look at a Seahawks article and look at the comments. You’ll find a 49whiner fan named Norcalmafia, why anyone is proud of being in the NorCalmafia I don’t know…. It’s the weakest of all the fake mafias , he still has a right to talk trash, I welcome it. It makes kicking your butts even better. Grow a pair and quit acting like your d-bag coach and your fragile minded QB. #D-BAG HARBAUGH STYLE!! #GOHAWKS

  88. Niners fan here.. I’m actually with Frank on this one. Typically players have an unjustified “Me First” mentality, but in this case he’s right. He was dominating on the ground and all of a sudden they pulled the plug on the running game in the 2nd quarter. I was baffled when I saw it. No excuses though, these receivers need to do a better job getting open. It’s difficult to watch.

  89. I love the “49ers miss Alex Smith” comments, too. Have you people parroting that nonsense actually watched him play this year in KC?

He’s been largely average to bad himself. I mean, he managed to make the horrible Eagle defense look competent last Thursday night. What do you think he would be doing in SF with no receivers other than 89 year old Boldin?

  90. Maybe now we know why Kaep was wearing a Dolphin cap during the off season. He wanted to play for a winning team. Miami 3-0, S.F. 1-2

  91. jiveturkeygobbler:

But these problems have been going on ever since Harbaugh has been here. Kaepernick is here now, and even before he started playing Jim Harbaugh was already making bizarre QB decisions between him and Alex Smith. It was his waffling around that helped the 49ers to get sidetracked and they have lost efficiency over the long-term through all the money they put into Alex Smith just to replace him shortly after.

I have also seen a number of games where Harbaugh has allowed the team to make horrible strategy mistakes and he just doesn’t know how to avoid making a lot of simple mistakes and regardless of who is injured right now I just don’t see him as being a positive influence on the team and being the type of coach that can get the most out his players. I think they need somebody who is more cerebral.

To argue back with well it’s still early, yeah no kidding, of course they can still have success and even win the Super Bowl, but if a better Head Coach is possible then I say go with the better coach and have whatever those odds are to win the Super Bowl increase a bit further. They should have the best possible coach they can find and I absolutely am emphatic in believing that Harbaugh is not that person.

    ———————————————————————————

Ummmmm…..not sure what games you were watching, but at no point were the 49ers remotely “in” the Seattle game or the Indy game….especially not in the 4th quarter….unless of course you mean they were “in” the stadium. Get real.
