Chris Snee misses practice, due to problem with other hip

Snee

Giants guard Chris Snee, the son-in-law of coach Tom Coughlin, has been struggling.

Many thought the poor performance traces to the hip on which Snee had surgery in the offseason. His father-in-law told reporters on Wednesday that Snee is actually having trouble with the other hip.

The hip that wasn’t operated on is sufficiently bad to have kept Snee out of practice on Wednesday.

Also not practicing on the offensive line was center David Baas, who has a neck injury.

Coughlin categorized both players as day-to-day. Without a competent corps of blockers, Eli Manning’s football days could be numbered.
