The roller-coaster season for the Colts’ running back corps continues.
Ahmad Bradshaw, who rushed for a season-high 95 yards in the Colts’ Week Three upset of the 49ers, will miss Sunday’s game at Jacksonville with a neck injury. Coach Chuck Pagano disclosed the news at his Friday press conference, according to multiple media outlets, including Colts.com.
Bradshaw missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday the neck injury.
With Bradshaw out, Trent Richardson would seem likely to be the Colts’ featured back Sunday, with Donald Brown in reserve.
The Colts entered the season with Vick Ballard as their starting back, but he suffered a knee injury leading up to the Colts’ second game of the campaign. This led the Colts to trade their 2014 first-round pick to Cleveland for Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in 2012.
