A frightening-looking injury just before halftime doesn’t appear to be as serious as on first viewing.

Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett was taken off the field on a stretcher late in the first half, and was taken to a nearby hospital in Houston.

He was involved in one side of a collision at Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, and his neck snapped back violently.

But the Seahawks announced he was being evaluated for a lower back injury, and had feeling in all his extremities.
