The Patriots obviously need some defensive line help, after the season-ending injury to Vince Wilfork last night.
It doesn’t appear Richard Seymour is a possibility.
Seymour laughed and told Ron Borges of the Boston Herald “No way,” when asked about a possible return to the team that drafted him.
Of course, there’s also the possibility the Patriots would have the same reaction.
The 33-year-old Seymour isn’t a like-for-like replacement for the massive Wilfork, and is obviously looking for another payday.
So even if they were inclined to bring back the former first-rounder, he might have priced himself out of the market.
