It’s been said that the most dangerous place in the world is between a politician and a camera, but linebackers with the Cardinals might disagree.
Vic So’oto became the fourth Cardinals linebacker to go on season-ending injured reserve on Wednesday. So’oto left the Week Four victory over the Buccaneers with what was called a concussion during the game, although the Cardinals said it is a chest injury in the announcement of the move.
It was So’oto’s only game as a member of the team. He was signed last week after the team lost Sam Acho and Lorenzo Alexander for the season and just before Alex Okafor joined them on injured reserve.
The Cardinals also announced that they have signed Marcus Benard to take his place on the roster. Benard spent training camp with the Patriots, but didn’t make the final cut. He was with the Browns from 2010-2012 and had 11.5 sacks in 25 games with the club.
