C.J. Spiller is expected to play, despite ankle injury

Spiller

Absent from practice on Monday and Tuesday and limited on Wednesday, Bills running back C.J. Spiller apparently will be playing on Thursday night despite an ankle injury.

Coach Doug Marrone has said C.J.Spiller will play.

Spiller has said he’ll play if he’s only 80 or 85 percent. Given that his game is premised on cutting and the injured body part is his ankle, Spiller’s output could be diminished.

Or, like Roddy White for the Falcons in Week One (before he told everyone how jacked up his ankle), Spiller could be a decoy tonight.
