The Giants’ offense, which has suffered through a horrid two-game stretch, has gotten off to a nice start Sunday against Philadelphia.

Running back David Wilson’s five-yard TD run, punctuated by a celebratory double back-flip, gave the Giants a 7-0 lead first-quarter lead against the Eagles. The Giants advanced deep into Eagles’ territory on a 49-yard completion to wideout Hakeem Nicks on a third-down play, and Wilson would score two plays later.

The Eagles would cut into the Giants’ lead on their subsequent drive, getting a 40-yard Alex Henery field goal to reduce New York’s lead to 7-3 a little more than halfway through the first period. The Giants made a curious decision on the drive, accepting a holding penalty on a third-down play that had been stopped short of the sticks. On the following play, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick scrambled for 34 yards on 3rd-and-19.
